Gord started playing piano at age 8, moved to guitar at 15 when he was inspired by Ritchie Blackmore (Deep Purple) and hasn't stopped since. He played 6 days a week for 11 years in the Vancouver area and has played with over 30 bands over the years. "If I can't make it better I won't play."
